Welcome to the Integrated Behavioral Health Services!
What is Brief Therapy and how could it Help Me?
Most patients, including those with history of traumas and/or chronic mental health diagnoses, could benefit from brief, solution-focused therapy. For example, brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and brief Dialectical Behavior Therapy have been proven effective in helping patients recognize problematic thinking and behavioral patterns, enhance coping skills, and improve interpersonal relationships. Your clinician will help you decide whether brief therapy is right for you during the free consultation. If your concerns are more suited for long-term therapy, we will help you connect with outside mental health providers.
What Happens after the SIX Sessions of BRIEF Therapy
After the intake appointment (40 minutes), you may receive up to five individual/couples/family sessions (30 minutes each), occurring either weekly or bi-weekly. Our program does not provide long-term therapy. If you would like to continue therapy beyond the session limits, we will provide outside referrals for you. Additionally, our groups have no session limits.
Our goal is to provide behavioral health services irrespective of your insurance status and ability to pay. We provide fee-for-service and fees are based on your income level and family size. If you earn less than 200% of FPL, your fees will be based on a sliding scale. We will help you assess your fees before your first session so you know exactly how much you need to pay for services. We provide a free consultation for patients who are interested in our services.
